According to the update on Monday, January 5th, in the world ranking published by the Professional Squash Association (PSA), Colombian Miguel Ángel Rodríguez is ranked 8th, achieving the highest ranking of his career.
The top spot in the list is held by Egyptian Mohammes Elshorbagy, followed by Frenchman Gregory Gaultier and Amr Shabana, who moved up one position ahead of Nick Matthew, who occupied the fourth position.
Ramy Ashour, crowned World Champion in Qatar, is in 5th place, followed by Englishman Peter Barker. Egyptian Tarek Momen is ranked 7th, while behind Rodríguez, Egyptians Omar Mosaad and German Simon Rösner are in the 9th and 10th positions, respectively.
Miguel Ángel Rodríguez has extensive competitive experience in national and international circuits, winning significant titles in recent decades and currently holding the number 1 position at the national level.
